It is yet another Valentine’s Day; the day when love is celebrated in all types of expressive ways. Women everywhere love this day. This is the day their significant other gets to shine and express thoughtfulness and creativity in the outpouring of love for one another. Well…anyway, that is supposed to be the general idea. However, for the woman over 40 Valentine Day can be a little tricky.
For the women over 40 and above the gift should be more thoughtful and creative if you intend to touch her heart; here are a few ideas to consider:
- Flowers
They are always beautiful and you can modify your budget as needed.
- Edible Arrangements
Women over 40 are watching their weight and candy may be bit much. This arrangement is a great way to remain on the healthy side because it is made of fruit dipped in chocolate. The chocolate will provide the necessary sweetness and allow her to indulge in her love of chocolate.
- Spa Day
A spa day will allow her to relax and receive that much needed massage and some may include facials, manicures and pedicures. Your budget will determine the level of relaxation package.
- A Beautiful Card
This card should not be picked lightly but well thought out and apply specifically to her if possible. There is nothing better than a card that reads like it was written for your special person.
- Perfume
There is nothing more romantic than a gift of perfume that you love to smell on her. Words just can’t express what an aroma of fragrance can at times.
- Jewelry
Every woman loves jewelry. However, make sure you pick a piece that you can not only afford but you know she will love.
- Dinner
An evening at a nice restaurant is fine but an evening of dinner that you cooked or catered adds a more personal touch. This special meal can be eaten in the privacy of your home or any place special to the two of you.
- Gift Cards
The gift card should be placed in the Beautiful Card that was selected for her. The gift card can be for places she loves to dine, shop or any place that she frequents. This card is in line with the thoughtfulness of the day and if picked carefully she will love.
